Annette Chavez
MSN, FNP-C, ABHRT
Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner
Annette Chavez, MSN, FNP-C, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with more than two decades of experience in nursing and patient care. She earned her initial nursing degree in 2000 and began her career working in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), pediatrics, and women's health.
Annette continued her education at Grand Canyon University, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, followed by a Master of Science in Nursing with an emphasis in Nursing Leadership in Healthcare Systems. While working within a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), she witnessed firsthand the significant barriers many patients face in accessing and navigating the healthcare system. This experience shaped her clinical focus on preventive care and the management of chronic conditions.
Motivated to further expand her impact, Annette returned to Grand Canyon University to earn her Family Nurse Practitioner degree. She is deeply committed to patient education and empowering individuals to understand how chronic conditions can negatively affect overall health—and how proactive, informed care can lead to meaningful, long-term improvements.
Specialized Training & Approach
In addition to her nursing degrees, Annette holds certification in bio-identical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) through Worldlink Medical. This training allows her to integrate evidence-based traditional medicine with a personalized, comprehensive approach to care, grounded in the latest unbiased research.
Annette believes that when patients actively participate in their health journey, significant and lasting improvements in health and quality of life are achievable.
